Singer will be joined by renowned jewelry designer <strong>Tom Binns</strong>; the &#8220;Godfather of Denim&#8221; and Goldsign designer, <strong>Adriano Goldschmied</strong>; Dosa founder and designer, <strong>Christina Kim</strong>; and<strong>Laura and Kate Mulleavy</strong>, the design duo behind Rodarte. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We invite you to participate in the initial organizing meeting for a major national campaign against military escalation in Afghanistan.  Leaders in the faith community, labor movement, peace and security organizations, progressive groups, and student activists are invited to a convening meeting for the <em>Rethinking Afghanistan</em> movement co-sponsored by Brave New Foundation and Peace Action West.  This movement will utilize a number of strategies to focus the attention of the media and the public on Afghanistan, and to mobilize opposition to the planned military escalation and support for increased diplomacy and restoring human rights.   </p>
<p>This campaign will build on the success of the <em>Get Afghanistan Right</em> campaign launched in January.  (<a href="http://www.getafghanistanright.com/" target="_blank"><span>www.getafghanistanright.com</span></a>) </p>
