American’s Care More about Local then National New Study Finds

Interesting, article from redgreenandblue.org.

“According to a survey of 1,000 American adults, local and national environmental issues are of more concern, than global issues like global warming and climate change.”

This study, would back up what we here at YPM have been saying. Our efforts to increase local awareness can be very powerful. Yes we need to tackle global issues, but there is a lot we can do locally right now. It’s easier to convince people to pay attention to local issues, then to convince the entire nation in global warming. So yeah, don’t be afraid to raise awareness at that hip party. People do care about local issues.
