Primary Election Results
Yesterday was California’s State Primary and a lot went down. Â Proposition 98, and its attempt to eradicate rent control, was smacked in the face and left by the wayside. Â Proposition 99, however, was successful at restructuring prior eminent domain laws (which is okay by us). Â Of course, there were also tons of races for people seeking office. Â

 Less than 130,000 people voted in the race for the 2nd District.  If Ridley-Thomas had received another 6,000 votes, he would have clinched the seat.  Instead, these two candidates will face off against each other in November.Â
